Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Awards

As part of the Purdue Equity Task Force (ETF) mandate to develop and implement specific actions for students, faculty, and staff of color, with a particular emphasis on Black Boilermaker representation, experience, and success, the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (ODIB) is offering a new award for substantive work that has led to results in the priority areas identified by the ETF.

The Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) awards seek to recognize individuals (faculty and staff) and college teams (any combination of faculty/staff/students) whose work has intentionally prioritized innovative scholarship and/or practices leading to a more inclusive, just, and welcoming community that cultivates a greater sense of belonging at Purdue University.

Up to five awards of $7,500 will be given to recognize individuals, teams, and colleges that demonstrate inclusive excellence in some or all of the missions of discovery, learning, and engagement. Full nomination requirements and instructions can be found at this link
