Fellowships

Fellowships are awards to graduate students that typically provide either a yearly stipend for living expenses and/or some amount of tuition coverage. Unlike scholarships, fellowships give graduate students more funding as well as a longer commitment for that funding.

Applicants should be aware that fellowship funding is distributed approximately 6 - 12 months after the deadline for submission. Students should apply for funding at least 6 months or more prior to the start of the semester for which they need the funding. Additionally, the fall semester has the most fellowship deadlines out of the year.
