Heart Knowledge April 23 – May 28, 3-4 p.m. ET |
Having high blood pressure (also known as hypertension) significantly increases your risk for serious health conditions, including heart attack and stroke. Often called the silent killer, more than 100 million people in the United States have high blood pressure, but don’t realize it because they aren’t experiencing symptoms. This 6-week class is designed to help you understand high blood pressure and how lifestyle choices can help you better manage this condition. It includes weekly Zoom classes and health coaching to support you along the way.

Taking Control of My Diabetes May 1 – July 3, noon to 1 p.m. ET |
Do you have type 2 diabetes or prediabetes? Do you want to better understand type 2 diabetes and how it affects your body? This 14-week program will explain what type 2 diabetes is and the role nutrition, exercise, sleep, medication and stress management can play in your blood glucose levels. Participants in this program will be eligible to receive a free glucose meter and supplies.
Note: Individuals living with type 1 diabetes are able to meet monthly with a health coach but are not required to participate in the 14-week “Taking Control of My Diabetes” program to take advantage of the test strips and blood glucose meter opportunity. HealthKick May 5 -June 13, virtual |
HealthKick is a 6-week virtual education program which addresses physical activity, nutrition, creating healthy habits and decreasing stress. Brief education (about 5-minute video) is delivered to participants via text message or email (depending on preference) Monday through Friday for six weeks. The program includes one-on-one health coaching sessions established at the beginning of the program. The goal of this program is to increase education surrounding nutrition and develop healthy habits over 6 weeks to last a lifetime.

One to One Strong is a 4-week group coaching program designed to teach the fundamentals of resistance training, and guide you as you create individualized resistance training program that is realistic, manageable, and will contribute to your overall health and fitness goals. Each class will include both an educational and active component.

This version of Pivio is designed as an on-demand, virtual program offering a self-guided, self-paced format, which caters to those who are unable to commit to designated session times. The program is designed to help participants make changes to their lifestyles through education, practical experience, and reinforcement with a focus on behavior change. Additionally, Pivio helps support and facilitate the prevention, treatment and reversal of chronic disease as well as identify current lifestyle patterns that may lead to current/future health ailments. Hence, individuals pivot toward optimum health and away from chronic illnesses. Pivio integrates optimal nutrition, exercise and behavioral psychology principles and tools. Plant-based eating is at the core of the program’s nutrition education.
