Jefferson Belarmino De Freitas

Dr. Jefferson Belarmino De Freitas is a distinguished sociologist and visiting professor at Penn State University’s Humanities Institute. He holds a Ph.D., a master’s degree and a bachelor of science in sociology with a minor in anthropology. Dr. Freitas has researched race and gender discrimination in domestic labor in Brazil and the United States for more than 20 years, gathering qualitative data on this topic. His work aims to advance social justice through affirmative action. Dr. Freitas has received honors and awards, including the Werner Baer Postdoctoral Fellowship at The Lemann Center for Brazilian Studies at the University of Illinois. He has contributed to prestigious journals and presented at international conferences. Dr. Freitas seeks a position where he can contribute to advancing Latin American and Latino Studies through teaching, research and community engagement.

Chloé Delsad

Chloé Delsad is a French-Swiss writer who has published two novels. She has given talks about her novel at Universities in Europe and the United States. In addition to her literary pursuits, she has taught French and philosophy in Burkina Faso, India, and Switzerland. She holds a master’s degree in French literature and philosophy and a second master’s in pedagogy.

A variety of communication-based experiences showcase Jill Hill's ability to connect with a diverse array of people. While earning her Master of Public Health degree, she enjoyed using her strong writing abilities to contribute to research in her field. Jill excelled throughout her education as a writing tutor at her campus writing center, often being especially assigned to students learning English. Marcelo Ramos Pinto is a dentist and also a PhD student. He specialized in pediatric dentistry also with an MBA in management and marketing. He worked in general and pediatric dental practice for 10 years, in private and public segments. More than 20 years of experience in dental and healthcare corporate sectors, working with dental products as well as health services (dental, pharmaceutical, medical), for international and Brazilian companies, including franchising chains. Marcelo is an entrepreneur, with focus on innovation and technology in healthcare. The PhD project in development is focused on teledentistry.

Monique Opuszcka Campos

Monique has higher education and post-graduate experience with more than 15 years in in physical therapy while living in Brazil. She also has research skills and experience with data collection in cardiovascular physiology in humans with a focus on blood flow regulation, endothelial and autonomic function.

Dr. Roberts holds a Doctor of Management from the University of Phoenix, focusing on IT adoption in nonprofit sectors, an MBA in Management Information Systems, and a BS in Management from Park University. His certifications as a Certified Supply Chain Professional Fellow (CSCP-F) and Project Management Professional (PMP) highlight his commitment to excellence. Through innovative teaching and a dedication to student success, Jeremy contributes significantly to the field, bridging academic knowledge with practical application to prepare future leaders in supply chain management.
