Build your Development Plan and Formative Strategies
Skill building and career management is a collaborative effort between the employee, supervisor, and Purdue University. Employees and their supervisors must enter new goals and/or track existing goal progress within SuccessFactors each year. Purdue's two-step process will help employees and supervisors brainstorm and document professional development goals in SuccessFactors. If you have existing development goals and/or would like to skip the brainstorming process, advance to Step 2 and enter development goals into SuccessFactors.
Step 1: Use the table to access career development guides that will help you explore your current and aspirational career stream competencies and potential development paths. Simply select the desired career level and the development guide will appear. Why is this step important? This step will help employees and supervisors quickly identify and explore competencies required for success at a designated career stream level and identify potential development paths.
