Personal Leave
Personal leave is often described as vacation and sick time and/or personal business days.
- The University Policy Office houses the leave-related policies, such as Leaves of Absence.
- View leave benefits associated to Faculty, Executive, Management, Professional, Continuing Lecturer, Postdoctoral Researcher, Clinical Intern, Clinical Resident, and Operations/Technical in Benefit-Eligible Positions
- View leave benefits associated to Administrative & Operational Support, and Fire/Police & Skilled Trades
- Benefits-eligible grad staff should review contact resources, the Standard located on the Policies website, and pages 23-27 of the Graduate Staff Manual located on the Graduate School website.
All employees request time off through SuccessFactors. Employees access SuccessFactors by selecting the Employee Launchpad on OneCampus. Both vacation and sick leave balances are displayed. At the time of submitting the request, a sufficient balance (of the leave type chosen) must be available to cover the request.
Please note: When requesting sick leave, select sick family when leave is associated with family member and not self. Contact your campus HR office for leave eligibility or policy interpretation. Your HR Business Partner, listed within the staff directory, can also assist with issues that may arise due to a leave of absence.
