SuccessFactors Position and Pay Information

Access SuccessFactors

SuccessFactors is the Human Capital Management (HCM) system that integrates employee information with timekeeping and time off, recruitment or hiring, performance appraisals and goals management.

1. Visit OneCampus
2. Select Employee Launchpad
   

There are two processes hiring supervisors can utilize:

1. Post and recruit for student positions within SuccessFactors
2. Provide student information to Payroll Center to process through Action Automation (these students are often known, and a posting is not needed)
3. Login with your user name and BoilerKey. Don't have a BoilerKey? Visit the BoilerKey website for more information.
   
4. View your Employee Profile to access your employee information, make needed changes to direct deposit, addresses and more.
   
   • View your Pay Statement through the Pay Statement Tile.
     
   • Request time off, when applicable through the Time Off tile.
     

Review Employee Profile

1. After logging into Employee Launchpad (SuccessFactors), select My Profile.
   
2. Your profile contains:
   • Personal Information – your work and address, education status, contact information, etc.
   • If more than one position is held usually, the primary position is the one displayed. Click the position you want to see.
     
   • Employment Information - job information, organization information, compensation
     
   • Click Show more to view time information, when needed
     
   • How can I tell if I have an AY (Academic Year) or FY (Fiscal Year) appointment?
     • FY appointments include 12 month in the employment type; while AY appointments include ‘AY’ in the Employment Type
       
   • Compensation Information displays annualized salary, pay group and base pay amount
     
   • Payroll information provides links to review pay stubs, update direct depostion and change tax withholding, when applicable.
     
3. Click Bank ESS to edit bank information and select the pen to edit
   
4. Click BSI Tax Profile Factory – Employee to update state and federal withholdings
   

Review Pay Statement

Your Pay Statement is accessible through SuccessFactors.

1. Visit OneCampus
2. Select Employee Launchpad
   
3. Login with your user name and BoilerKey. Don't have a BoilerKey? Visit the BoilerKey website for more information.
   
4. View your Pay Statement through the Pay Statement Tile.
   
5. The most recent pay statement is displayed on the bottom, while the Overview and Selection table provides quick links to past statements.

Request Time Off

All time off is processed through SuccessFactors. Common time off requests include vacation and sick leave. However, even leave for research, instructional or engagement travel, is processed through SuccessFactors.

1. Review the Graduate Student Staff Benefits standard to learn more about the available leaves.
2. Access the Graduate Staff Employment Manual and review the Leaves of Absence section.
3. Follow these simple steps to ask for time off:
   • Visit OneCampus
   • Select Employee Launchpad
     
   • Login with your username and BoilerKey. Don't have a BoilerKey? Visit the BoilerKey website for more information.
     
   • Request time off, when applicable, through the Time Off tile.
     
   • Click New Absence and select appropriate leave type.
     
   • Please seek guidance through your local Payroll Center when completing business leave requests for research, instructional or engagement travel.
