IN-MaC addresses these needs with an integrated partnership among industry, academia, and government to help prepare our industry, workforce and talent pipeline to be more competitive and resilient.

Purdue's Digital Enterprise Center (DEC) is an interdisciplinary research center founded in the Department of Computer Graphics Technology in the Purdue Polytechnic Institute. The Center fuses the talents and expertise of university faculty to serve as a resource for the manufacturing industry's transformation to the digital enterprise and Industry 4.0.

Built upon the principles of discover, demonstrate and disseminate, the intelligent manufacturing testbed (IMT) is a resource for industry participants – especially Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) – to explore valuable combinations of new and existing technologies and develop capabilities that create value within their business. The IMT will showcase the digital transformation of a manufacturing enterprise, and participants will investigate ways to integrate products, processes and systems across a product life cycle and extended value chain.

For over 29 years, DCMME has been the focal point within the Krannert School of Management for promoting education, research and industrial engagement with those interested in operations management and manufacturing management. The Center accomplishes this through conferences, student competitions, and company projects. These opportunities place our students on the leading edge of emerging ideas and technologies and provide differentiating advantages in the manufacturing business.

The IoT Infrastructure and Data Analytics Team is a group of Purdue interdisciplinary researchers whose effort is funded by the SMART industry consortium and the Wabash Heartland Innovation Network (WHIN). This research group is working on the development on low cost sensors and systems for the near future and rapid expansion and adaption of IoT devices in Manufacturing and Agriculture.

The Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) provides high value, affordable solutions to help businesses increase profitability. As advocates for Indiana's thousands of manufacturers, our staff leverages resources in both the public and private sectors to help identify areas of improvement, streamline processes, and ultimately increase competitiveness.

The Purdue University Technical Assistance Program (TAP) provides high-value solutions to increase profitability for Indiana businesses, and to improve the productivity of the state and local government. Operating from eight statewide offices, the program utilizes Purdue University faculty, students, and staff. Founded more than a quarter century ago, the program has assisted approximately 19,000 organizations and trained more than 50,000 employees.

Formed in 1901, the Indiana Manufacturers Association is the second oldest manufacturers association in the country and the only trade association in Indiana that exclusively focuses on manufacturing. The Indiana Manufacturers Association is dedicated to advocating for a business climate that creates, protects and promotes quality manufacturing jobs in Indiana.

Conexus was created in 2007 to accelerate, promote, and grow Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics economy by leading innovative collaborations among industry, academic and public sector partners.

Formed in 1922, The Indiana Chamber is the largest, broad-based business advocacy group in the state. With 25,000 members and investors, on behalf of more than four million Hoosiers. The Chamber’s robust list of publications and conferences provide businesses with the vital information they need to operate.

INTMA’s mission is to help Indiana manufacturers achieve business success through advocacy, education, networking, information, programs and services. Founded in 1950, the Indiana Tooling and Machining Association (INTMA) has a rich tradition of representing the precision manufacturing industry in Indiana.

WVLN is a state-wide, member-driven group, focused on applying Lean principles and continuous improvement methods to eliminate waste in business processes so member organizations can gain a competitive edge. WVLN helps train, connect and encourage members on their lean journeys through the exchange of knowledge and experience.

Formed in 2017, WHIN's mission is to develop its ten-county regional community as a very large scale, living laboratory for education and scientific research related to Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. WHIN is an alliance of 10 counties in north-central Indiana, funded by the Lilly Endowment, devoted to working together to fuel prosperity by harnessing the power of internet-enabled sensors to develop our region into a global epicenter of digital agricultural and next-generation manufacturing.

The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) is the full-service trade association representing the $137-billion metalforming industry of North America—the industry that creates precision metal products using stamping, fabricating, spinning, slide forming and roll forming technologies, and other value-added processes. Its more than 800 member companies also include suppliers of equipment, materials and services to the industry.

The North American Die Casting Association (NADCA) was founded in 1989 through the merger of the American Die Casting Institute (ADCI, founded in 1928) and the Society of Die Casting Engineers (SDCE, founded in 1957). NADCA represents the voice of the die casting industry and is committed to promoting industry awareness, domestic growth in the global marketplace and member exposure. Headquartered in Arlington Heights, IL, the association is comprised of both individual members and corporate members located throughout United States, Canada and Mexico.

Established in 1997, The Manufacturer's Association for Plastics Processors, Inc. (MAPP) is the largest grassroots organization in the United States plastics industry, serving over 400 member companies representing more than 45,000 employees.
