Galina Miller

PISA Supervisor
Galina joined Purdue University and the International Scholar Services' PISA team in November 2023.  She holds a PhD in Computer and Information Technology, and a Master of Science Degree in Education, both from Purdue University. Additionally, she has a Master of Arts Degree in Linguistics.  She worked as an interpreter for Uniworld Travel and Cook companies. Over the course of her career, she has held a diverse range of roles both in the US and internationally. Galina is fluent in English, Russian and French, and is conversational in Italian. In her free time, Galina enjoys being active and spending time outdoors.  Her hobbies include gardening, reading, traveling, and practicing yoga.

Luanne Campbell

PISA Specialist

Luanne began her journey with Purdue University and the PISA team in September 2024. She is originally from Logansport, IN, and holds a bachelor's degree with a major in information technology management. Luanne has extensive experience in public education, with a particular emphasis on technology. Luanne held multiple roles in the technology department over the course of her career, each offering more responsibilities, which allowed her to grow professionally.  

Outside of work, Luanne loves to travel, spend time outdoors, explore new recipes, visit her son (a proud Purdue graduate!), and spend time with her two Bernedoodles.

Brittany Cardona

PISA Specialist

Brittany joined the International Scholar Team as a PISA Specialist in February of 2025, after more than 10 years of administrative support experience in the legal, immigration, and education fields. Brittany holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Latin American Studies from Indiana University-Bloomington, where she studied abroad in Guanajuato, Mexico. She later moved with her family to San Jose, Costa Rica to complete a certification course in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, which led her to working for almost three years in Antigua, Guatemala for an international volunteer and education center. While living in Guatemala, she enjoyed traveling to Honduras, Belize, El Salvador, and Mexico. Outside the office, Brittany enjoys attending her son’s sporting and school events, listening to true crime podcasts, and spending time with her beloved dogs and cats.

Claudia Castillo

PISA Specialist

Claudia joined PISA in May 2024. She has been living in the Lafayette area since 2006, when she came to Purdue for her graduate studies. Claudia is fully bilingual in Spanish and English; she holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Linguistics and enjoys learning about languages and cultures. Her hobbies include anime, indoor gardening, putting together jigsaw puzzles or simply relaxing indoors and watching cat videos.

Mabel Chan

PISA Specialist

Mabel Chan is originally from Hong Kong and moved to the United States in 2001. She speaks Cantonese, Mandarin, Chaozhou Dialect and English. Mabel has three years of experience at Purdue Univeristy, and prior to this, she spent more than 9 years engaged in customer service in the  government and banking industries. She has a varied academic background that includes a bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature with a minor in Art Studio, and an Associate of Arts degree in Social Science and Humanities.

When not at the office, Mabel enjoys traveling, singing karaoke, watching drama movies & TV shows at home, chatting on the phone with friends and family, and taking long walks.

Sojung Wang

PISA Specialist
Sojung joined PISA in September 2024. She is originally from South Korea and holds a bachelor's degree with a major in Public Administration and a minor in English Literature. She has three years of work experience in the logistics industry as a network & customer care agent. Prior to this, she worked for two years in the insurance industry and trading agency as an administrative assistant. Sojung has lived in West Lafayette since 2012, which she now considers her second hometown. She loves to travel, experience diverse cultures, and enjoys spending her time reading, as well as hanging out with friends and family.
