The concert with the Purdue Varsity Glee Club and the Morehouse College Glee Club will bring together two well-known music groups as part of Purdue’s “Democracy, Civility, and Freedom of Expression” series. Morehouse College is a historically black, all-male institution in Atlanta.

“The goal of this concert is to connect and create community through this historic collaboration,” said John Gates, Purdue vice provost for diversity and inclusion. “This event is a reminder that we have much more in common than we may think. And even through our differences, we can and should respect, honor and appreciate our shared humanity.”

The concert will start at 7:30 p.m. in Stewart Center’s Loeb Playhouse. The event is free and open to the public, but general admission tickets are required. Tickets are available at Purdue box offices located in Stewart Center and Yue-Kong Pao Hall of Visual and Performing Arts on campus, and online.
