Director of Supply Chain Research, Allison Bennett Irion is a member of the senior leadership teams for both the Advanced Energy Technologies (AET) and Nuclear Technologies and National Security (NTNS) Directorates. She works to enhance Argonne’s impacts, bringing together cross-disciplinary analytical and experimental capabilities to support resilient, equitable and competitive domestic supply chains.

Bennett Irion brings over 20 years of DOE complex experience as a systems engineer with expertise in supply chains and material security for DOE, DOD and DHS sponsors, including assignments in Washington, DC and London, UK, as well as a decade at Sandia National Laboratories. Allison serves as Argonne’s relationship manager for DOE’s Office of Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chain (MESC) and DOE/NNSA’s Office of Global Material Security (GMS).She serves as an officer in both the U.S. Navy Reserve and U.S. Merchant Marine. Bennett Irion is a graduate of the U.S.
