Dr. Daniel Skovronsky is president of Lilly Research Laboratories and chief scientific officer at the Indianapolis-based pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly and Co., a world leader in drug research, development and distribution. Skovronsky, who earned an M.D. and a neuroscience doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania, will discuss Lilly’s long relationship with Purdue and the remarkable scientific leaps made by both institutions. He also will address the current state of science and the insights we should take from space exploration to ensure we continue to fight against disease.
