Welcome back to the Fridays for a Sustainable Future Series. The first guest speaker of the Fall 2023 semester is Mazin Qumsiyeh, Professor, Director of Cytogenetics Services, Director of Palestine Institute for Biodiversity & Sustainability and Palestine Museum of Natural History at the University of Bethlehem. Professor Qumsiyeh has published over 170 scientific papers, 30 book chapters, hundreds of articles, and several books on topics ranging from cultural heritage to human rights to biodiversity conservation to cancer. The topic of converstation for Professor Qumsiyeh's presenation is, "Sustainability and Human Rights". Lunch will be provided.
