Laboratory and University Core Facility Research Equipment Program accepting applications for funding

The Office of Research has announced the renewal of the Laboratory and University Core Facility Research Equipment Program to support researchers wanting to purchase the most up-to-date research equipment.

Through this program, investigators can submit proposals for one-time funding to acquire capital research equipment. The program offers two categories of funding: equipment costs up to $100,000 (type 1) and equipment ranging from $100,001-$1,000,000 (type 2).

Submission deadlines are:

• Type 1 funding: applications due Nov. 4.
• Type 2 funding: preliminary submissions due Oct. 21 with final applications due Nov. 18.
