Workshop series: Building Research Collaboration with Corporate Sponsors

March 27, 2025

Starting in April, the Office of Industry Partnerships will offer a series of workshops focused on building successful research collaborations with corporate sponsors. These workshops will help faculty identify the right corporate partners and explore building and growing effective partnerships.

The first workshop will focus on building successful research collaborations with corporate partners and explore best practices with some of our leading faculty experts from the colleges of Engineering, Science, Agriculture and Pharmacy.

Workshop Agenda:

  • Part 1 — Rainmaker panel: Gain practical knowledge from our leading experts as they share best practices on identifying the right corporate partners and building effective, sustainable partnerships.
  • Part 2 — Town hall with university administrators: Engage with administrators from the Office of Industry Partnerships and Sponsored Program Services in an open discussion. Share your feedback on current processes and help identify and remove barriers that can hinder success in collaborations.

This workshop will be from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday (April 2) in Stewart Center, Room 202. To attend, use this registration link. Dates of other workshops will be posted on the Office of Industry Partnerships website.
