Connecting with Alumni
If any of the scenarios below fit your organization or your role with your organization, be sure to connect with the Alumni Liaison for Student Organizations to see how she can help you and your student organization.
- Is your organization interested in participating in Purdue Day of Giving?
- Does your organization have questions about Purdue Day of Giving?
- Does your organization want to fundraise, apply for a crowdfunding page, or get a donation link (or have general questions about any of those topics)?
- Is your organization interested in starting an endowment? This is a separate investment account that earns money over time, allowing for semester distributions to be given to the student organization.
- Does your organization receive regular donations from alumni, family, friends, members of your organization? If so, how is your stewardship process? Are you remembering to send thank you cards?
- Does your student organization have general questions on how to engage with their alumni?

Our office provides a semesterly alumni training that is offered to all student organizations. At this training you will learn about working with the Development Office, Purdue Day of Giving, stewardship, planning events for your alumni, creating an endowment, and much more.
