Implementation Readiness

In preparing for a new IT software/service deployment or major upgrade, ensure any applicable tasks below have been completed.

Visit the PSS Information Assurance page for more information and instructions that explain how to request the following services.

• Coordinate a security review of the new offering.
• Submit a security exception request where policy or data handling requirements are not satisfied.

Visit the ITSP Identity and Access Management page for more information and instructions that explain how to request the following services.

• Setup authentication services, including CAS and SAML.
• Obtain InCommon certificates with Incommon certificates.

Visit the ITSP Security Services page for more information and instructions that explain how to request the following services.

• Ensure all systems are included in the enterprise vulnerability scanning process.
• Request a web application penetration test.
• Deploy endpoint protection on all systems in scope.
• Configure audit log forwarding to ITSP log collectors.
