Outdoor Event Spaces Available for Student Gatherings

Registered student organizations will be able to host in-person events at locations designated by the Vice Provost for Student Life and in accordance with parameters outlined in the Protect Purdue plan.

“ReEntry Purdue Atmosphere” allows students the option to reserve new and existing event, performance and activity spaces, all with smart social distancing strategies. Supported events of 50 attendees or fewer include:

  • Student organization meetings and call-out;
  • Student organization tabling, promotion, education and information dissemination;
  • Social gatherings;
  • Group activities;
  • Relaxation, stress relief and wellness programming;
  • Large scale events of up to 250 people per location can be obtained, but departmental sponsorship is required.

Spaces available for reservation include study tents, small performance spaces and large-scale venues. To view a list of venues, visit the ReEntry Purdue venues page here.

Weekly events including fitness activities, movie nights, social nights, open-play pianos and game zones are already occurring in several spaces. To view a calendar of events, visit the ReEntry Events Calendar here.

Interested student organization leaders should submit an activity planning form through BoilerLink to start the process and request a space. When completing the form, be prepared to answer information about adhering to Protect Purdue guidelines and to share expected attendance, location and the purpose of your activity.

Once approved in BoilerLink, Purdue Events can help with any logistical considerations via email or by calling 765-494-8908.
