"How We Think" Panel Discussion – Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2025, at 5 p.m. (HCRN 1066 in West Lafayette): Faculty experts explore time, technology, and climate change from multiple disciplinary perspectives.
Keynote Lecture by Erle Ellis – Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, at 5 p.m. (HCRN 1066 in West Lafayette): Can human societies reshape the planet for a thriving future? Ellis, a leading expert on the Anthropocene, shares insights.

Submit your innovative practices for the Festival of Teaching & Learning
Please share your best and most innovative practices with the Purdue community in a hands-on expo, the second annual Festival of Teaching & Learning: 3-5 p.m. Friday, April 11, in Honors Hall and hosted by the John Martinson Honors College.
Apply via this Qualtrics form by Wednesday, Feb. 19.
All entries should have a tangible, demonstrable and/or interactive component (e.g. visual aids, hands-on activity, interactive model, or examples of student work produced) and participants should expect to share their best practice with a diverse audience made up of students, staff, faculty and alumni from West Lafayette and Indianapolis. All participants will be eligible to win $1,000 cash awards for future teaching and learning projects. Learn more here.
Invitation to the Purdue Substance Use Mitigation Team lunch and learns (Spring 2025)
The Purdue Substance Use Mitigation (SUM) Team is hosting a series of Lunch and Learns to raise awareness about substance abuse and mental health related issues. Faculty, residence hall faculty fellows, academic advisors and other interested staff are invited. Attendees learn about our campus environment and ways to incorporate the information into their teaching and interactions with students. Lunch is provided and registration is required.

Explore global student opportunities during Fulbright Week 2025
Purdue’s National and International Scholarships Office (NISO), part of the John Martinson Honors College, will host Fulbright Week from Feb. 17–20. The event offers workshops and panels for faculty and students to learn about Fulbright grants for teaching, research, and study abroad. Sessions include STEM-focused opportunities and guidance from past Fulbright recipients. A virtual alumni panel will cap the week. Join Problematizing Education & Digital Technology Community discussion Feb. 19
Researchers, educators, activists, parents and students are invited to come together from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, to discuss some of today’s most pressing questions about the future of education technology (EdTech). This event, Problematizing Education & Digital Technology, is part of the Critical Studies of Education and Technology (CSET) 2025 worldwide event.

Save the date for 2025 Steps to Leaps Summit
Join us from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 12 at Beck Agricultural Center
Steps to Leaps is a campus-wide initiative geared toward bolstering student success. The 2025 Steps to Leaps Summit will provide opportunities to build connections with peers who are also using Steps to Leaps to engage their students around the five pillars; Well-Being, Leadership, Impacts, Networks and Grit/Persistence. There will be amazing presentations from peers and students ( submit yours here). We will award the Steps to Leaps awards ( nominate here).
