Undergraduate students have until Feb. 27 to submit their abstracts to present a research talk or poster on their research or creative endeavors during the 2025 Purdue Undergraduate Research Conference.

The Spring Undergraduate Research Conference showcases undergraduate research with students delivering presentations from April 8-11. Undergraduate researchers and scholars from all disciplines at the West Lafayette and Indianapolis locations are encouraged to participate in this event.
- Poster symposium April 8 in the Purdue Memorial Union’s North and South Ballroom with sessions from 9-10 a.m., 10:30-11:30 a.m., noon-1 p.m., 1:30-2:30 p.m. and 3-4 p.m.
- Research talks April 10 in Stewart Center, Room 214, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Literature, Linguistics, Languages, & Culture Colloquium (LLLC) April 10 in Stewart Center, Room 218, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Celebrate Purdue’s Thinkers, Creators, & Experimenters April 10 in Stewart Center, Room 206, from 1-3 p.m. (This event showcases projects’ creations and deliverables such as robots and models).
- Virtual presentations from April 8-11 available on the conference website
Prizes will be awarded from each of the sponsoring academic units for poster, talk, LLLC, and virtual presentations. Faculty, staff and graduate students who are interested in judging poster, talk and/or virtual presentations can sign up for times on the conference’s judging information link. Individuals, such as student ambassadors and organizations, who want to volunteer to work day-of Conference activities can sign up on our volunteer webpage.
The process of disseminating research results, gaining valuable feedback from peers and professors, and networking with other participants is a vital step in the learning process of engaging in a research experience. Other upcoming events are the Undergraduate Research Pitch Competition on March 27 in Grissom Hall, Room 103, from 7-9 p.m. and the Student Innovation & Excellence Showcase: The First Year in Indianapolis on April 24 in the Campus Center, Room 450, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Indianapolis.
The Purdue Undergraduate Research Conference is organized by the Office of Undergraduate Research with representatives from the academic units on the undergraduate research planning committee.
