Purdue's second annual “Majors, Minors and More” event is set for 3-6 p.m. Oct. 1 in the PMU North Ballroom. This dynamic fair offers students a unique opportunity to explore a broad range of academic options and enhance their college experience.

Purdue University is hosting its second annual “Majors, Minors and More” event, designed to help students explore a wide range of academic opportunities. Set to take place from 3-6 p.m. Oct. 1 in the PMU North Ballroom, this event serves as a comprehensive resource for students looking to delve into the many academic paths available at Purdue.

Linda Gregory, executive director of Exploratory Studies, said students will have an opportunity to interact with several campus units that can enhance their college experience and career outcomes. Additionally, this year the event will feature representatives from Purdue’s Indianapolis location to share pathways and opportunities in Indianapolis.

“It’s a way to learn about co-ops, get involved in research, or participate in experiential education, study abroad and service-learning,” Gregory shared. “Representatives from all of Purdue’s academic offerings will be in one location for students to visit.”

Much like the "Be Involved Fair" for student organizations, "Majors, Minors and More" offers a one-stop shop for students to explore Purdue’s diverse academic landscape. The event will feature representatives from all 10 Purdue academic colleges, the John Martinson Honors College, Exploratory Studies and various other academic and professional programs.

“This event offers a great way for students to explore all that Purdue has to offer, and we hope faculty and staff will actively promote this event to students,” Gregory emphasized. “Guiding students to this comprehensive resource can significantly enrich their academic journey and career planning.”
