The Purdue Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) and sponsoring academic units are seeking faculty, staff, post-docs, and graduate students to help evaluate poster, talk, and virtual presentations for the Purdue Fall Undergraduate Research Expo.

This year, the Fall Expo will include posters, research talks, and virtual presentations representing all academic colleges and schools with over 500 presentations. The abstract booklet and presentation schedule will be available after Nov. 7. There are many opportunities to volunteer for judging with most students presenting in-person:

  • Poster symposium on Nov. 19 in the Purdue Memorial Union’s North and South Ballrooms with sessions from 9 – 10 a.m., 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., 12 – 1 p.m., 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
  • Research talks on Nov. 20 in Stewart 214 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Virtual presentations from Nov. 19-26 available on the Expo website.

To register as a judge for the expo, please complete the registration form on the Judging Information website as soon as possible.

A judging incentive for those who submit six or more completed (excludes “no-shows”) formal evaluations is available. If an individual is a Purdue faculty, staff, postdoc, graduate student, or official retiree, registers with the official Qualtrics form, and is assigned a time to judge, they will receive a $20 gift card.

The expo will showcase research of undergraduate students and is open to the public. Awards will be presented from each academic unit participating.
