The Purdue University Small Animal Primary Care service provides veterinary care to exotic pets of Tippecanoe County residents as well as faculty, staff, and students of the Purdue University Small Animal Hospital.
We care for a variety of pet exotic animal species such as ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, degus, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, lizards, snakes, birds, fish, and more.
The Purdue University Primary Care service provides veterinary care to exotic pets of Tippecanoe County residents as well as faculty, staff, and students of the Purdue University Small Animal Hospital. We strive to provide high quality primary small animal veterinary care to our patients emphasizing communication, education, and service to our clients. At the same time, we operate a model of a private small animal practice to allow veterinary and veterinary nursing students to gain experience in primary veterinary care and client communication skills.
