It's important that you understand the rights and responsibilities you have as a Purdue student, as well as potential ramifications when Purdue policies are violated. If you haven't yet reviewed these materials, please do so now:
- Alcohol and Other Drugs Guide
This guide contains information about alcohol and other drug issues, including Purdue policies, state and federal laws, the health effects, impacts of violations, and resources available for students concerned about alcohol and other drugs. Information from this site is also sent out to all Purdue students each year, which is required by the federal government.
- Alcohol and Other Drugs Program
The Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) program offers services to students whose substance use affects their life goals or influences their mental health. Services include assessment, therapy, consultation, provision of resources, as well as referral to other services both at Purdue and in the community.
- Wellness resources and tips
Boilermakers look out for each other when choosing to drink or host parties. Use this page to learn simple tips about staying safe and being responsible when choosing to drink, hosting parties, caring for self and others, and where to turn when you need help.
