Video Competition Guidelines
“Protecting our planet & reducing inequalities”
Submit a short video (3 minutes or less) regarding the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aimed at protecting our planet while reducing inequalities. Videos should focus on the implementation of a specific SDG, overall successes and challenges in achieving SDGs, and/or highlight the complex interconnectedness of the goals. No more than three people per video submission, videos longer than 3 minutes will not be accepted.

Challenges, successes, and/or interconnectedness of achieving SDGs

What videos will be judged on:
- Were the Sustainable Development Goals fully addressed?
- Was the problem/message clear and understandable in the video?
Content (0-5 points)
- Does the video adequately and clearly explain the issue?
- Does the video provide at least one reasonable connection between goals?
- Are the facts and information presented accurate?
Message (0-5 points)
- Does the video present a clear message?
- How persuasive is the message?
- How well does the video draw in viewers and retain their attention?
Creativity (0-5 points)

Does the presentation of images and sound lend itself to the overall message?

Is the video original, and does it “think outside the box?”
Production (0-5 points)
Is the video of good quality, with smooth transitions and balanced sound?
