The Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Professional Development Travel Award
The Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Professional Development provides free in-person, virtual, and hybrid workshops. The workshops are intended to foster growth in career preparation, mentorship, research & ethics, communication, wellness, and much more.
To encourage engagement, a $250 travel award will be given to the residential grad student(s) or postdoc(s) attending the most graduate school professional development workshops per semester. The Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Professional Development Travel Award must be used for academic or professional development-related travel. Graduate student recipients may use the award for all approved travel expenses such as airfare, mileage, hotel, per-diem, and registration. Additionally, recipients must use it within one year and must be an active graduate student or postdoctoral scholar in good standing at the time of travel.
There is no application process for this award. Winners will be notified by a representative from the Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Professional Development at the end of each semester.
