Qantas is hoping we'll all start flying again soon, and last month announced how it thinks we can do so and still be COVID-safe. There'll be hand sanitiser, but no social distancing on board, and masks will be offered, but not made compulsory. Qantas points to the cabin air filtration system as the safety net - catching and removing any virus. But now, a top engineer who studies aircraft filters has told PM the reassurance from Qantas is hollow and lives will be at risk.
