Safe Walk Program

West Lafayette

Students, faculty and staff in need of an escort to and from West Lafayette campus buildings may call the Safe Walk Program 24 hours a day, seven days a week for assistance at 765-494-SAFE (7233). 

When you request a safe walk, a member of Purdue Student Security Patrol (PSSP) or a Purdue University police officer may come to help escort you to your destination safely.

Indianapolis

Those needing assistance on the Indianapolis campus may call 317-274-SAFE (7233) at all hours of the day, seven days a week. An officer with the IU Indianapolis Police Department will arrive shortly to walk you to your desired location anywhere on campus.
