All students participating in a departmental program will be expected to compete both a pre program and post program assessment.

Log in information:

       Username: (your Purdue email address)
       Password: bevi 

After you log in, you will be prompted to change your password. Keep your new password as this will also be used for the post assessment.

You will be provided access to complete the BEVI one month prior to start date and after program completion.

• Please complete pre-survey at least two weeks prior to departure date
• Please complete post-survey within two weeks of program end date 
• You must take the same assessment both pre and post  program. For example, if you choose to take the alternate assessment instead of the BEVI for the pre survey, you must also take the alternate assessment for the post survey.

The BEVI is designed to assess the many different ways in which people see the world (i.e., different value and belief systems).  After completing a series of background questions, you will be asked to respond to items covering a very wide range of issues and topics. Although different people may respond in different ways to these items, please know that there are no “right” or “wrong” answers on the BEVI.  Since we often differ in our beliefs, values, and life experiences, it is both common and expected that one person may strongly agree with an item whereas a different person may strongly disagree with that same item.

After completing the BEVI, please screenshot the dashboard of the completion date (not your individual responses assessment) and upload to your My Study Abroad page. This will inform your program leader that the task has been completed. Uploading a screenshot of the completion page will need to be done for both your pre program and post program survey.

You will be provided with an individual assessment report. This is for your records and is not shared with the instructor. Your program leader will be provided with aggregate data for the group.

Alternate Assessment - All students participating in a departmental program are expected to take the BEVI. This is the preferred assessment tool. If you decide that you would prefer not to take the BEVI, you may take THIS alternate assessment to meet the survey completion requirements and upload your completion page.

After completing the alternate assessment, please screenshot the completion page and upload to your My Study Abroad page,
