Student Positions – Undergraduate and Graduate

Quick Hire Learning VideoUndergrad and grad student positions follow the quick hire process in SuccessFactors when the position needs to be posted.

  • Contact your Employment Center if you already know who you are hiring and are not posting the open position in SuccessFactors. They have a form to be completed.
  • Connect with your Director of Financial Affairs or Employment Center before initiating the process in SuccessFactors to understand who needs to be viewing and approving the requisition and the offer letter.
This instructor-led course via Teams will demonstrate and walk through the quick hire process for undergrad and grad hires. Click here to view schedule and register for a class.

The Grad Staff and Fellowship offer letter templates are located here. Undergrad student offer letters are in SuccessFactors.

According to the Background Checks policy, candidates for undergraduate student and graduate student appointments are subject to a Sex and Violent Offender Registry Check prior to their appointment with the University.

This is currently done during the onboarding process. A separate email invitation from HireRight (our background check vendor) is sent to the student to collect the needed information to run the check.
