What do you get through your involvement in the Women in Engineering Program? I have strong connections with my peers and alumni, along with access to many useful resources designed to support my success. This program does a great job of building a sense of community within the College of Engineering. The people I’ve met are always friendly, open and create an environment where I feel confident and empowered. I’ve been able to successfully acclimate to college and find my place with assistance such as free tutoring services and their mentoring program. The Women in Engineering Program has been critical in my continued success at Purdue.

Why did you decide to participate in the Women in Engineering Program? I believe very strongly in their mission. The Women in Engineering Program makes a powerful, positive impact on our engineering community, and I wanted to get involved with this thriving program. I love being able to share my love for engineering and Purdue with prospective students. Knowing I’m able to help create a community where women feel capable and ready to succeed is very meaningful.
