2023 InspirAsian Graduation & Student Leadership Celebration

Asian American & Asian Resource and Cultural Center invites you to the 2023 InspirAsian and Student Leadership Celebration held at the Black and Gold Gym of the Purdue France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center on Friday, April 28th from 6 to 8 P.M. This celebration recognizes the class of 2023 and students who have volunteered their time as leaders in the community through their involvement in student organizations. 

We encourage students who are part of the graduating class of 2023 (Spring, Summer, Fall) and students holding leadership roles who would like to be recognized at the event to RSVP to attend as graduating seniors will be given a stole and AAARCC merchandise at the celebration. The AAARCC is accepting nominations for four awards which will be given out at the InspirAsian & Student Leadership Celebration. Self-nominations are accepted. The categories of awards are:

• InspirAsian 2023 Student Organization Award
  This award recognizes a registered student organization in good standing with SAO that has actively carried out the mission of their organizations on Purdue’s campus, contributed to the positive Asian and Asian American communities, and demonstrated active partnerships/collaborations with other student organizations throughout the year. • Graduating Undergraduate Award
  This award recognizes a graduating undergraduate student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who has demonstrated a significant contribution to the Asian and Asian American communities at Purdue University, Purdue community in general, and larger communities and is an active member of one or more student organizations in good standing with SAO. • Graduating Graduate Student Award
  This award recognizes a graduating graduate student with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who has demonstrated a significant contribution to the Asian and Asian American communities at Purdue University, Purdue community in general, and larger communities and is an active member of one or more student organizations in good standing with SAO. • InspirAsian 2023 Leadership Award
  This award recognizes an undergraduate student with a 3.0 GPA semester or cumulative average as of spring 2023 that demonstrates outstanding leadership skills that have significantly contributed to the Asian and Asian American communities at Purdue University, Purdue community in general, and larger communities.
