Soyoung Jung teaches at the Department of Art and Design, The Patti and Rusty Rueff School of Art, Design, and Performance at Purdue University. Originally from South Korea, she completed a Master of Fine Arts at Purdue University in 2019. She now lives and works as an artist in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Visit the exhibit while getting to know the resources that Purdue University Asian American and Asian Resource and Cultural Center offers to campus communities. Join us for an artist talk with Soyoung Jung on March 22, 2023 from Noon to 1:00 PM at the AAARCC (915 5th Street).

Be Heard: Asian Experiences in Indiana offers a glimpse of more than 100 years of Asian heritage in the state. The exhibit is based on interviews of individuals of varying cultural backgrounds who recall what it has been like to be Asian in the Hoosier State throughout the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
