Attachments may now be uploaded to any Coeus Institute Proposal record.  The purpose of this functionality is to provide Sponsored Programs Administrators the ability to electronically attach and manage documents to an IP that are obtained between the points of proposal submission to sponsor and the notice of award/not funded.  The IP Attachments function is similar to the Proposal Development Narratives with a few minor differences.

Navigate to Institute Proposal Attachments

1.  Navigation to the Institute Proposal Attachments screen can be done from either the Institute Proposal Search Results or once an IP record is open in Display

2. Go to Edit > Attachments –OR- click the “Attachments” icon.

1. Attachment Icon: Click to open uploaded document in a new browser window.  Icon designates the file type of the attachment.

2. Status: Status will be "Incomplete" for draft documents and "Complete" for final. All attachments will be in "Complete" status when proposal is submitted

3. Attachment Type: Category of document uploaded. To see a list of documents with their corresponding Narrative Types, click HERE.

4. Title: Descriptive title entered by Pre-Award that identifies the attachment

5. Comments: Any additional information entered by SPS Pre-Award regarding a specific attachment. The comments will change to correspond with the selected document.

6. Update Fields:

• Last Updated By: Name of the User who last revised the attachment information and time/date of that revision
• Last Document Uploaded By: Name of the User who uploaded the most recent document version and upload time/date.
• File Name: Name of the attached documet

View Institute Proposal Attachments

To view any attached document go to Edit > View Document -OR- click the corresponding attachment icon to the left of the row.  Attachment will open in a separate browser window and can be saved electronically or printed to hardcopy.
