Deidre Bush

Deidre (De) Bush joined the Susan Bulkeley Butler Center for Leadership Excellence fall 2024. Before that she was the Assistant Director/Project Director for ADVANCE Purdue Center for Faculty Success starting in November 2011. She previously worked in extension and research project management in the Departments of Food Science and Foods & Nutrition here at Purdue University. In Food Science Extension De helped food entrepreneurs and co-developed “An Introduction to Starting a Specialty Food Business in Indiana” workshop. Her early career experience was in the food industry including Quaker Oats Co. where she developed a patented farina product. She holds an M.S. and B.S. in Food Science from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Purdue University.
