Please, plan to join us for the Nexus webinar "Robotic Sediment Sampling System for Surface Water Sediment Collection" on Friday, November 19 from 12 PM to 1 PM
The Nexus Project team 'Robotic Water Quality Monitoring and Distribution Systems' will share their team's achievements.
Presentation Abstract:
In this presentation, we will introduce a robotic core sediment sampling system that we have developed over the past three years for the Nexus project. The developed system consists of a large, unmanned surface vehicle and a sediment sampler that can collect sediment in surface water environments such as rivers, streams, lakes, ponds, and reservoirs. We will present details of the developed system, including its physical specification and a control system architecture for remote sediment sampling, and also the results of our recent field experiments.
