Program Description
- The graduate certificate in Intercultural Competence Mentorship prepares graduate students in any field and non-degree students admitted to Purdue to develop a mentorship skillset specific to intercultural competence development, i.e., the ability to apply a deep understanding cultural worldview frameworks and awareness of cultural diversity to a variety of personal and professional settings; facility in guiding the individual developmental processes of others; and the capacity to design, implement, and assess theoretically-ground and research informed intercultural learning opportunities. The program will improve their appeal to future employers, benefit the sectors in which they work, and personally enrich participants.
