Past Events

The Purdue Association of Magnetic Resonance (PAMR) had callout event during which we shared all the events we have planned for this year. We went over the upcoming events, travel awards, and networking opportunities. We also provided FREE INSOMNIA COOKIES and beverages.

PAMR hosted a career panel with panelists from diverse career paths. Our panelist included:

• Nicole Vike, Post-doc at Northwestern University
• Jana Vincent, Senior MRI Coil Engineer at GE Healthcare
• Kevin Butterfield, Director of BrainForest Center
• David Gross, Director of MRI Safety evaluations at MED Institute

We hosted Fall picnic at Happy Hollow Park where we provided donuts from a local bakery, sandwiches, snacks, and beverages. We learned how to play spike ball and had some friendly 400m races.

Pub Trivias became our staple event! We enjoyed losing to our proffesors in the MRI Trivia. Next year we are planning a grand come back. Ice skating soiree for PAMR Mmebers, their friends, and family was a huge success! We rented an ice skating rink, provided drinks and had fun comparing our athletic skills!
