Note: If you are enrolled in one of Purdue’s health plans, you are able to add your new family member to your existing plan; however, you must do so within 30 days of the birth, adoption or placement and you will not be able to change health plans until the next open enrollment period – held annually in the fall.

Leaves, including paid vacation, paid sick leave and more are part of all of Purdue’s health plans.  Personal leaves and time off are an important part to the work-life integration pillar of the Healthy Boiler Program. Leaves of Absence Policy information is available here.

Flexible work arrangements, which allow for variations in when, how long or where you work, including working remotely can make it easier for you to manage family responsibilities while still doing your best work and meeting the business needs of Purdue.

All benefits-eligible employees, including those who do not participate in a Purdue medical plan, as well as dependents covered on a Purdue health plan, can utilize health and wellness care at the CHL.

The CHL offers a wide range of services to treat common illnesses, manage chronic conditions, provide preventive care and promote overall health and wellness. The providers – physicians, nurse practitioners and other health care professionals, including health coaches, a dietitian, a physician assistant and pharmacists, are dedicated to knowing you, your medical background and your needs.

Appointments are available Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lab hours are available Monday through Friday from 7 am.
