Cybersecurity
The Cybersecurity learning community is designed for students enrolled in the first-year Cybersecurity degree program through the Purdue Polytechnic Institute.
The Cybersecurity learning community is an opportunity to engage with faculty in the Cybersecurity area of Purdue Polytechnic, academic advisors, alumni, and others on a more personal level. Students have the opportunity to develop friendships, community and study groups that will exist within a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Networking both within your discipline and within others is one of the many opportunities this community provides. This learning community is designed to provide experiences and encourage students to develop soft skills as they go on to a career in this area.
Please note that some learning opportunities take place outside normally scheduled class time. Students will have the flexibility to pick which events they wish to attend, but some event attendance is expected.
For specific questions regarding the Cybersecurity LC, please email Paul Thomas (pjosekut@purdue.edu).
