The Purdue Musical Organizations Hall of Fame was started in the early 1940’s by Director and Founder of PMO Albert. P Stewart as a way to recognize selected exemplary members. Many of these individuals have been featured soloists or outstanding members in their own right. Every director selects Hall of Fame inductees with their own criteria in mind.
"Since my start at PMO in 2008, I have selected inductees both from current graduates and former graduates that contributed greatly to the organization both in their talents and in their extraordinary commitment to the organization," Albert P. Stewart Senior Director of Purdue Musical Organizations Bill Griffel said. "These inductees gave unconditionally to others, loved with a pure heart and believed in themselves while lifting others up. It is upon their shoulders that we look to the future.”
