Christmas Show Frequently Asked Questions

Will PMO be streaming this year's Christmas Show?
Yes! In addition to offering live performances in Elliott Hall of Music, we'll also be streaming a select performance via PMOBroadcasting.com.
Will my gift to PMO made today be counted toward preferential seating for this year's Christmas Show?
Yes! Gifts made from August 1, 2024 to August 27, 2025 (end of Christmas Show presale) will be utilized to evaluate preferential donor seating.
I’m a PMO donor - why didn’t I receive a reserved parking pass in the mail this year?
PMO is offering something new for donor parking this year. Donors will have priority parking at a surface lot away from Elliott Hall of Music, and a dedicated shuttle will loop from this lot to Elliott at regular intervals. We emailed this information to donors, but are happy to send a paper copy! For more information, please email PMOMDM@purdue.edu.
How long is the show?
The Purdue Christmas Show lasts approximately 90 minutes with a 15 minute intermission.
Are there elevators in Elliott Hall of Music?
Regrettably, there are no elevators in Elliott Hall of Music. There are handicap accessible doors and you may request "main floor only" online, over the phone, or via mail when purchasing tickets.
What about parking?

Please reference this updated map for public parking, noting that the parking garage located at University & Third Streets can become very congested and other parking garages/lots are available.

A limited number of bus parking spots are available. Email PMOMDM@purdue.edu for more information about tour bus parking.

Can I drop off passengers closer to the doors of Elliott?
Due to Purdue traffic policies, patrons can no longer drop off guests and return to park. Patrons will need to drop off passengers at the corner of Third and University streets. Golf carts will be available to transport patrons to and from Elliott Hall, University Garage and all handicapped locations. We ask that you follow all directions by parking attendants and Purdue police.
Will there be a shuttle service?
Yes, a complimentary golf cart service will operate between the parking areas and the Elliott Hall of Music. We have a limited number of golf carts, so interested patrons are asked to please be patient.
How early can I arrive for the event?
Doors will open no earlier than 45 minutes before each performance. Please be aware there is limited seating in the lobby of Elliott Hall.
What are your policies for this event (refunds, recording, routine bag checks, etc.)?

Refunds will not be issued. Additional ticket requests are welcome but cannot be combined with
your original order. Everyone (even infants) must have a ticket.

Smoking, photography and audio/video recording of any kind are prohibited in the Elliott Hall of Music.

Late arrivals may not be seated immediately.

In an effort to provide a safer environment and to expedite guest entry, Hall of Music Productions will continue to implement a clear bag policy for all Elliott Hall of Music ticketed events. Guests are encouraged not to bring any type of bags to events, and only the following are permissible:

  • One bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and does not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches.
  • One one-gallon clear plastic bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
  • One small clutch bag (no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches) - approximately the size of a hand - with or without a handle or strap.

Exceptions will be made for ticket holders with medically necessary items and/or diaper bags (with a child/children present). If a bag is required for medical purposes, it must be clearly marked with a medical bag tag before being permitted inside the venue and will be fully searched.

I purchased tickets online and didn't get a confirmation email, who do I contact?
Please check your spam or junk folders as the ticketing system is working correctly and is sending emails. If you still can't find your confirmation email, you can email the Box Office at HLMCTix@purdue.edu for a confirmation.
When will I be mailed physical tickets that I purchased?
Box Office staff will begin mailing tickets out to purchasers the week of October 1, 2025. All questions about ticketing should be addressed to the Purdue Box Office at hlmctix@purdue.edu or by calling 765-494-3933, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
My question isn't listed, who do I contact?
Please email PMOMDM@purdue.edu to contact a PMO staff member. Your question is very important to us and we will respond within two business days.
