James O. and Ann L. Berger are passionate about Purdue and the field of Statistics. James Berger worked for Purdue's Department of Statistics for over 20 years. During this time, he grew as a statistician, educator, mentor, and researcher. James and his wife Ann, who has her Master's degree from Purdue in Education, feel indebted to Purdue and recognize the tremendous impact that a capital gift can have on the future of statistics for years to come.
