Mission: Our mission and purpose of supporting arts and culture at Purdue University is to foster a love of the arts, provide opportunities for students to express their creativity and create an open environment for the exploration of different cultures.
Students will: explore, express and foster their creative pursuits while experiencing a wide range of cultures in an open environment.

Arts and culture are essential to the daily lives of all Boilermakers. They help us express who we are, connect with others and make sense of the world around us. Through music, visual art, performance, storytelling and tradition, arts and culture foster creativity, spark conversation, preserve heritage and build community. They can shape how we think, feel and relate to each other
Opportunities
Purdue offers a wide range of opportunities to engage in the arts and culture, accessible to students from all disciplines. These opportunities span from traditional academic programs to enriching out-of-classroom experiences, allowing students to participate as their interests and schedules permit.
Engagement
Engagement goes beyond observation-it's about contributing, learning and growing through creative and cultural experiences.
Outcomes
Purdue students are the beneficiaries of participating in the arts and culture in powerful ways. They develop creative thinking, communication and collaboration skills, while gaining confidence in self-expression. They build cultural awareness. foster a sense of community, enhance emotional well-being and lead to new career opportunities.
