The luncheon for newly hired STEM women faculty is held each semester to welcome and celebrate the new women faculty in STEM fields. These luncheons facilitate networking and community among newly hired tenure-track faculty members in the STEM disciplines. The luncheons have been hosted and attended in the past by various Purdue university leaders who are able to hear from each faculty member in attendance.
