Transgenic and Genome Editing Facility

The Purdue University Institute for Cancer Research Transgenic and Genome Editing Facility (TGEF) is a state-of-the-art facility offering a wide range of services for the production and support of transgenic and gene-edited mouse and rat research models which are instrumental in understanding regulatory mechanisms that control development, growth, metabolism, physiology and a variety of human disease conditions, including cancer. It was established in 1998 through the generous support of the NCI and from funds obtained from the Purdue Office of the Vice President for Research and Partnerships.
