Flu vaccines will be available for retirees age 65+ at the William H. Daniel Turfgrass Research and Diagnostic Center located at 1340 Cherry Lane, West Lafayette, as follows:

Friday, September 26 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET
Friday, October 3 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET
Monday, October 17 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET

Drive-thru flu shot options

Additionally, drive-thru flu shots will be available at the Center for Healthy Living (CHL), located at 1400 W. State St., Building B, Suite C, on Purdue’s West Lafayette campus, and PURA members are welcome to utilize the drive-thru options.

Drive-thru flu shots will be offered on the south side of the center, with both morning and evening time slots available for added convenience. The CHL drive-thru flu shot schedule is as follows:

September 24 7-9 a.m. ET
September 25
4-6 p.m. ET
October 1 7-9 a.m. ET
October 4 4-6 p.m. ET

Vaccine information

The following vaccines will be available:

  • Fluad Trivalent – protects against 3 flu viruses (2 A + 1 B). Approved for ages 65+.
  • Flublok Trivalent – protects against 3 flu viruses (2 A + 1 B). Approved for ages 18+. Preservative- and egg-free.

PURA members may also schedule with their respective medical provider or contact their local pharmacies.
