Employment Verification - Experian

Purdue uses Experian for employment and income verification.

Requests from a third party to verify employment or salary history for a current or former employee should be referred to Experian's website, Experian Verify, to complete the verification process.

Your verifier will need the following:

  • Your full Social Security Number
  • Your first and last name
  • Name of your employer
  • A signed authorization form (if requesting income)
    • Authorization forms are provided by your lender

Employees may access their own verification records by visiting the Experian Verify and following the I am an Employee login. Please register first.

 

  • Request a New Verification Report: Request a new verification report on behalf of an employee on an as-needed basis.
  • Upload Verification Requests: Upload verification requests for processing by the uConfirm support team.
  • View Verification Fulfillment Trends: View verification fulfillment volume in three different available trend reports.
  • Download Verification Request Detail: Download an excel file of all verification request details.
  • View a Verification Report: View a verification report on a specific employee.
  1. Visit www.experianverify.com and choose “I am an Employee”
  2. Enter the following:
    • Access Code: 44385186
    • Full Social Security Number
    • Full Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Email Address
  3. Click Create an Employee Account. A password setup link will be sent to your email address. Click the link to create a password and activate your account.
  4. Log in with your credentials

If you need proof of employment or income, please have your verifier complete the process at www.experianverify.com. They will register and submit their request online.

  • Your verifier will need:
  • Your full Social Security Number
  • Your first & last name
  • Name of your employer
  • A signed authorization form (if requesting income)

No company code or salary pin required. If there are questions, please have them contact our customer support center at 404-382-5400, option 2.

Please submit your request by fax at (404) 829-1336 or by email to verify@experian.com.

Please include the following on your form:

  • Your first & last name
  • The last 4 of your SSN
  • A return fax number or mailing address to the agency

To obtain an instant Employment Certification Form (ECF) for your PSLF application. Please follow the instruction below (Steps 2-4 are only necessary if you have never registered for the portal):

  1. Please visit https://voie.experian.com/app/ee/eeregister.aspx
  2. Select “create an employee account”
  3. Enter the following:
    1. Access Code: 44385186
    2. Full Social Security Number
    3. Full Name
    4. Date of Birth
    5. Email Address
  4. Login with your Credentials by following prompts: A password setup link will be sent to your email address. Click the link to create a password and activate your account.
  5. Once logged in select the “Letters” on homepage or sidebar menu
  6. Select “PSLF Letter”
  7. A letter with submittal instructions and completed ECF will be generated
  8. You will need to calculate your “Average Hours per Week” by accessing your Income Verification in the employee portal.
  9. If submitting online to MOHELA/Fed Loans/StudentAid, be sure you select “Manual Signature” from your employer.

Experian’s PSLF fulfillment team does not submit your application, communicate with MOHELA/Fed Loans, or have any additional insight to your application status. Any questions regarding your status will need to be directed to MOHELA/Fed Loans.
