iLab Training for Financial Managers
The Financial Manager can be involved in a variety of possible business functions. They can assist with PI and User management, enable/disable account strings for PI labs, or be tasked with recharge center management (verifying and editing billing for labs, departments, cores, and centers). This role is usually filled by Purdue business office staff, at the department or college level.
Updated trainings for iLab Administration and Functionality and Billing Events and Error Corrections should be reviewed for assistance in business and recharge related iLab tasks, and the iLab For Principal Investigators and iLab For Purdue Lab Members QRCs should be reviewed and distributed to new departmental PIs and their lab members. Additionally, business staff should also review and follow the guidelines in the iLab Role Review QRC and implement them semi-annually.
