Resource Hours Fall 2026

The LCC teams up with departments, student organizations and partners across campus to host resources in-house. All Purdue University students are welcome to use these resources. There is no cost to participate, and no appointment is needed. 

Join the LCC and Purdue’s Center for Advocacy, Response and Education (CARE) for conversations designed to help students build safer, healthier relationships and communities. CARE Chats provide a welcoming space to learn, ask questions, and explore practical strategies around consent, relationships, personal boundaries, and looking out for one another.

Wednesday, September 23 — RedZone: Consent, Alcohol Safety & Bystander Intervention
Learn about consent, the role alcohol can play in unsafe situations, and practical ways to recognize concerning situations and safely intervene.

Wednesday, October 21 — Power & Control in Relationships
Explore how power and control can show up in relationships and learn to recognize behaviors that contribute to healthy—or unhealthy—relationship dynamics.

Wednesday, November 11 — Healthy Boundary Setting
Learn how to identify, communicate, and respect boundaries while building healthier relationships with friends, partners, family, and others.

Career Conversations with Pre-Professional Advising (PPA)

Connect with a PPA advisor in a relaxed, welcoming setting to ask questions about professional school, explore career pathways, and learn how to prepare for the application process. Whether you’re just beginning to explore your options or already planning your next steps, all students are welcome—no appointment needed.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) Chats

Take a break and connect with Purdue’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at the LCC. CAPS Chats offer students an informal, welcoming space to talk with CAPS staff, ask questions, learn about mental health and well-being resources, and explore strategies for navigating the challenges of college life. No appointment is needed—just stop by!

Spanish Conversation Tables with the LCC

¡Hablemos español! Join us at the LCC for weekly Spanish Conversation Tables, a casual and welcoming space to practice your Spanish through conversation with others. Build your confidence, strengthen your speaking and listening skills, and connect with fellow students in a low-pressure environment.

Participants should have some prior knowledge of Spanish and be able to participate in basic conversation. These sessions are designed for practicing and improving your Spanish and are not beginner-level Spanish lessons. All levels of Spanish speakers beyond absolute beginner are welcome!
